I am a photographer, mother, and birth doula living with my two beautiful daughters and husband amongst the redwoods in the Santa Cruz mountains of California. I always say that photography was my first love, it has been a part of my life for so long. However it wasn’t until I became a mother myself and dove head first into shooting on 35mm film that I discovered this is the way I want to photograph people. As I began documenting my own children and family, only film seemed to match the raw, messy, imperfect nature of my motherhood experience. Film forces me to slow down, approach each photograph with intention and presence, and expect something imperfect yet true.

My work focuses heavily on pregnancy and motherhood, as well as families and the universe we create within our homes. My goal is to step into your world and find the beauty in the small details and mundane moments.
